Are you a Woman Who Cares?
How often do we hear people say, "I'd love to do something to help others but what can I do. I am just one person and i don't know where to start."
Well here is that opportunity a to help those in need in Curaçao.
100 Women Who Care is a group of women who care deeply about the Curaçaoan community. The group gathers four times a year for a one-hour meeting, and each member donates 100ANG to a charity that the group selects. This combined donation of 10,000ANG, once there are 100 members, makes a real impact, without time-consuming fundraising events and planning. Our mission and our hope is to provide for those in greatest need in Curaçao. We hope you will join us at our next meeting to see how easy and fun it is!
There are over 170 Chapters in North America and the Caribbean with more being added everyday.
100 Women Who Care is for you if:
You don’t have time in your busy life to volunteer but have been wanting to help those in need, and you can commit to one hour every three months;
You are committed to helping others in the community;
Want to be a part of a powerful group of local women making an immediate, direct, and positive effect on the lives of our neighbours;
You are involved with other groups but are interested in meeting other women philanthropists in Curaçao;
Want to learn more about the many worthy community service programs and organizations serving Curaçao;
You want your 100ANG donation to become a part of a larger amount of money by joining together with other women—creating a powerful impact in our local area.
You wish for 100% of your contribution to go directly to local charities.
If one, or all, of the above applies then complete a commitment form to become one of 100 Women Who Care, Curaçao!

Meeting 6.30-7.30 precisely.

Our first winning project was the Art Foundation Curaçao.
Hellen Chirino-Roosberg and Jamila Romero respectively Chairperson and Treasurer of Art Foundation Curaçao visited Patroness Suzy Camelia-Römer and Chair Vanessa Tore to receive the money donated at our first meeting. Hellen and Jamila told members the Art Foundation Curaçao works with local and international artists/painters and part of their activities consists of donating time and talent to teach young offenders that are connected to delinquency and are at JJIC or youngsters in boarding schools or orphanages, to paint. Through the art of painting they are being thought some basic life instruments that can be used to solve their core problems: Core problems are problems with self-image, with expressing and discharging emotions, the inability to resolve interpersonal problems and finally, negative cognitions. Through art they manage to channel these issues to a positive piece of art and en up with a different view on life and the world. With the money you donated they are able to buy material to continue their work.
A beautiful initiative, managed by beautiful people and supported by 100 Women Who Care!
